“I have been seeing Stacey for exercise physiology sessions for over two years now. Stacey has helped me gain an understanding of how muscles in the body work and how they can manipulate the way our bones are aligned.
She has taught me that the regular physical activities (or in-activities) you have done over the years in your past will more than likely have shaped your body into the way it is now. For me, this was starting to cause problems with muscle imbalance and shortening, causing problems that were restricting the types of physical activities I could do, and if left un-attended, could lead to bigger problems.
'Stacey has an amazing ability to read the body, figure out what’s going on, and suggest exercises / stretches to improve the way your muscles and bones function.'
Through education, stretching the right muscles, and exercising certain muscles, the problems I was having are gone, allowing me to enjoy doing the things I love and to keep active.”

"Pre-op exercise and muscle strengthening for my second hip replacement in 2011, guided by Stacey, resulted in a much better outcome in terms of strength, mobility and pain compared to my first op with no preparation.
'Stacey has been my "rehab angel" since my first hip replacement in 2009. After 3 months on crutches, I was happy to get off them and back to normal in no time, with Stacey's help.'
Since then I have been fortunate enough to have ongoing pilates and exercise sessions with Stacey to maintain good mobility and fitness.
This has been achieved with:
• specific exercises to target problem areas with guide notes provided
• variety of exercises e.g. fitball work, flexi-tube, matwork, weights etc.
• review and correction of exercises when necessary
• new goals
I love that Stacey has an ongoing, highly motivated approach to her work. She enjoys research and updating with new info in her field, enabling her to pass the benefits along to her clients. She approaches each session with a smile and positive encouragement leaving me with a "spring in the step" until I do something crazy and unreasonable because I felt so good!!”

"I have pinched and stretched brachial plexus nerves from forceps misuse at birth (aka ‘Erbs Palsy’), resulting in limited range of arm and shoulder movement, plus atrophied muscles through lack of use. Stacey has been able to target my under used muscles and through regular sessions new muscles are working for the first time, and progressively becoming stronger. I have also experienced unexpected improvements in my mobility and strength which has given me confidence to try sports and activities that I have wanted to for years.
'Stacey is a wonderful exercise physiologist who approaches her work with positivity and joyful enthusiasm about the human body and it’s potential. She uses a high degree of creativity and intuition to adapt her knowledge and skills to injuries or any bodywork problems.'
Sessions with Stacey have also increased my general fitness, body awareness, proprioception and core strength and I can’t recommend her highly enough."
