INITIAL ASSESSMENT

A comprehensive initial assessment will give us an idea of how your body is currently functioning and dictate the resulting movement therapy.

It will include:
  • A detailed history : Including medical history, movement history, current activities and outlining of goals.
  • A postural assessment:  A look at your “usual” standing posture which will indicate muscular imbalances and areas that need improvement.
  • A movement assessment:  Depending on your goals this can include walking/running gait analysis, functional activity assessment (either every day activities or specific to your sport), single leg squats and a variety of other simple movements that will help us locate any imbalances in your body.
You will receive a detailed report outlining the findings of the assessment and the recommended course of treatment that you can keep and/or share with any other health practitioners that are currently working with you.

Any time left in the initial assessment will be used to begin designing your movement program.

Initial Assessment Price: $78
Time: 1.5 Hours
Please Bring: Any scans, reports from your healthcare team, medication or medical history information.

Contact Us for more information or to book your initial assessment.
