EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION

The type of exercise prescribed to you in your movement program depends on the observations made in your Initial Assessment, what you feel your body needs, and your overall movement goals.

The exercises generally consist of:
  • Pilates style exercise:  Pilates is a form of exercise designed to restore proper movement patterns and increase strength “from the inside-out”, while focusing on breathing, alignment and building true core stability.
  • Stretch and myofascial release:  Learn how to self-massage with foam rollers/trigger balls, and how to most effectively stretch and ease the tense tissues in your body to restore proper balance to the joints.
  • Cardio consultations :  Every individual benefits from certain types of exercise more than others, just as each individual has different dietary needs.  By looking at your history, the way your body functions, and your goals we can make sure you’re making the most of your current cardiovascular exercise program.
